Step-By-Step Guide To Creating A Bidsheet Seller Account

Step 1 - Setting Up Your Stripe Account

You will need to create a Stripe account. You will have two opportunities to do this before you can begin listing your material.  The first way will be when you are signing up for the account you will be emailed a verification email. When you verify your account you will be given the opportunity to create a Stripe account. If you skip that option, when you login you will be able to create an account by pressing on the "Set up payments" option. To be able to list materials, this process must be completed because this is how Bidsheet pays their sellers when the material sells.

Step 2 - Managing Your Stripe and Reviewing Payouts

To be able to manage your Stripe account you can go to the top right corner, where the initial is of your name, and click on it to access the drop down.  There is an option called "Payouts".  You will want to click on that option. In this area you will be able to review all your payouts and manage your stripe account by clicking on "Manage payout account"

Step 3 - Reviewing Your Settings and Configuring Them

To review your settings you can go to the top right corner, where the initial is of your name, and click on it to access the drop down.  There is an option called "Settings".  You will want to click on that option. Below we will be discussing the different settings that are available.

Account Details: This is the area where you can update who is managing your account, change your password and request that your account be deleted.

Business Details: This is the area where you will be able to see your account details along with the business documents that were submitted.

Package and Shipping: This is the area where you can advise buyers that when the shipment will be ready for pickup.  We recommend two hours after the BOL has been uploaded this seems to be the best time frame, but recommend adjusting this based on your time frame.  You are also given the option to offer shipping consolidation. This means that if a customer purchases more than one auction you allow them to combine them.

Team: This option will allow you to have multiple people listing your auctions for you.

Locations:  This will allow you to add multiple locations if you would like to sell material that is in different locations. We recommend if you don't have a loading dock that you include in the instructions if you have a forklift or not.  Once you have filled out this area you can press continue and put in the hours that you would like drivers to come pick up the materials from your facility.

Notifications:  This area is going to be your control center.  You can choose where your emails go to and who you want to receive the emails. We see customers using this to control and manage email notifications throughout their company.
