Best Practices For Managing Your Bidsheet Listings And Inventory

Inventory Tab

Searches and Filtering Options

  • Searchbar - You can search by either the Lot ID and your internal reference ID
  • Location Dropdown - This will allow you to filter which location you would like to see what sold.
  • Category - You can choose the category of material that you have published so that you can see how many auctions you have uploaded.
  • Date range - Choosing the date range can give you an idea of how many auctions that you have listed per week or per month.
  • Create a lot - This gives you the option of creating a Lot and add inventory to your account without publishing it right away. If you would like to publish a listing right away we recommend using the "Create Auction".

Inventory Table

Keeping track of your inventory is very important, so let's go to the inventory tab at the top and review the different ways to manage your Lots. In this tab you will see the Lot ID, Location, Category, Title, Item Qty, Auctions, Status and Date of Creation.  Below is a breakdown of each of the columns

  • Lot ID - Is the number that is used in Bidsheet to identify a group of assets that you are selling. When you hover over the Lot ID, you will see your internal reference that you provided on the last part of your listing.
  • Location - If you added more than one location during the setup process, you will be able to identify the facility where your material is situated.
  • Category - When you are listing you will be able to decide which category you would like to put your units in.
  • Title - We recommend providing a descriptive title for both you and your potential buyers to be able to identify what you are selling as soon as they see your listing.
  • Item Qty - The item quantity displays how many assets you are selling in the lot.
  • Weight - This is the overall weight of your entire shipment.
  • Auctions - Here you will see the number of times that you list the specific lot before it sells.
  • Status - There are three different status' you will see:  In Stock, Auctioning and Sold
    • In Stock - You will be able to publish an auction, edit your auction, and delete your auction (if you don't have any pending or cancelled orders attached)
    • Auctioning - You will be able to edit your auction, but if you would like to close it you will need to go to the "My Auctions" tab, find your auction and close it by hovering over the auction end date. Click Here to learn more about managing your auctions.
    • Sold - This status means either the auction is pending payment, pending pickup or shipped.
  • Date of Creation - Here you can keep track of the days that you create your auctions.
