Welcome to Bid Sheet! We've put together a step-by-step guide to help you understand how the site works, from bidding on auctions to finalizing transactions. Whether you're a buyer or a seller, we want to make the process as smooth and straightforward as possible. Here's what you need to know:

Steps:

  1. Customer bids on an auction
  2. Auction is either awarded automatically (if reserve is met) or seller has the opportunity to award it to the customer (if reserve is not met)
  3. Buyer pays for the auction within 3 days of approval
  4. Buyer consolidates orders to save on shipping, or chooses to ship separately
  5. Weights and dimensions are provided to the buyer for shipping
  6. Buyer schedules pickup with their chosen carrier and uploads BOL to their order
  7. Seller is notified that a BOL has been uploaded
  8. Carrier picks up the shipment and seller takes photos and obtains signed BOL
  9. Seller uploads signed BOL and images to the site to close the transaction
  10. Payout is released shortly after the signed BOL is uploaded
